You can also transfer to your to a universal serial bus (USB) drive if you need to take it with you.
AutoTest
General Dynamics offers the AutoTest tool for Motorola digital radios, and this software program helps you align your radio in usually less than 10 minutes. This program runs on your Windows-based computer, and you just need to connect your radio to your computer using a USB or serial cable. The software automatically reads the parameters of your radio, and then it analyzes and configures your system. It then creates a comma separated variable (CSV) file of your data, allowing you to store this information for future tests.
Radio Service
The Motorola Radio Service Software program is included with your 2 way radio, and it helps you align your phone when you first use it. Install this software on your computer and use it to obtain information and alignment procedures for your radio. It provides you with the codeplug data and the RF alignment for your phone. This information is contained within the software’s Main menu. If you need to obtain the alignment procedures for your phone, go to the Service menu of your phone, but you must first connect your phone to your computer. The Service menu then programs your phone with the correct codeplug.
