Instructions for a Motorola Radius GP350 2 Way Radio

Upload the GP350 Motorola software to your computer so that you computer will read the GP350 hardware once it is connected.
Connect the Motorola GP350 2 way radio to a direct current (DC) power source with its power cord.
Connect the GP350 to your computer through the radio interface box, or RIB. The RIB will contain the electrical cords necessary to connect the two-way radio to the box and the computer. You may need to run the GP350 off an older computer for the software and radio to be read properly.
Use the software on your computer to set the different channel frequencies across which you will be communicating with your Motorola GP350. GP350 radios can support up to 16 different channels across three different ranges of frequencies: 146 to 174 megahertz (MHz); 403 to 433 MHz; and 438 to 470 MHz.
Double-check the frequency channels on other radios the GP350 Radius two-way will be communicating with, to ensure that they are utilizing the same frequency and can receive calls from the radio.
Close out the Motorola GP350 computer program. Disconnect the GP350 from the RIB and the RIB from the computer.
Disconnect the Motorola GP350 from the power source after it has fully charged.
Turn on the Motorola Radius GP350 using the power switch. Turn the top channel dial to the frequency you wish to use for communication, and press and hold the call button to send a message. Release the call button to receive a transmission.
